LinkedIn Connector v2 Is Live: Reconnect in Two Steps

We rebuilt the connection layer behind every LinkedIn account on Sendpilot. Two steps get you running again — reconnect each account, then check your campaigns — and here is everything the rebuild changes.

Our biggest LinkedIn connector upgrade so far is now live. We rebuilt the connection layer from the ground up, going after the things behind most of the disconnects and failed sessions our users have run into.

There are two quick steps to get your accounts running again. Everything else in this post is what you are getting for it.

What You Need to Do

Step 1: Reconnect your accounts

Go to Accounts → LinkedIn and hit Reconnect on each existing account. Do not add it as a new account — reconnecting is what keeps your campaign history intact.

You will go through the full login, and you will be asked whether you want your verification prompt by SMS or as an in-app notification. Have your LinkedIn login details ready, plus access to the phone or inbox you use for verification codes. Allow a few minutes per account.

Step 2: Check your campaigns

Open each campaign and confirm two things:

  • Your account is still connected to the campaign
  • The campaign is active, rather than paused or showing an error

If both look right, the campaign carries on exactly where it left off. Sequences, progress and lead status all stay as they were, so nothing needs rebuilding and nobody gets messaged twice. If a campaign is paused or erroring, get in touch and we will sort it out.

What's New in the Connector

  • Faster, more reliable connections. Accounts connect more quickly and fail less often on the way in.
  • A more secure flow, end to end. We hardened every stage of the connection process.
  • Much better handling of 2FA, SMS codes, email verification and cookies. This was the single biggest source of accounts dropping mid-session, and it is the area we spent the most time on.
  • Your choice of verification method. When you connect an account, you now decide whether the verification prompt reaches you by SMS or as an in-app notification.
  • Rebuilt in-house proxies. Our proxy infrastructure for LinkedIn sessions has been rebuilt from scratch, so sessions stay stable for far longer.
  • More proxy regions. Additional regions are available on request. Send us a support request telling us which region you need and we will add it to your account.

What has not changed is the shape of it: every connected account still runs through its own geo-matched proxy, with automatic warm-up and its own enforced daily limits. The rebuild is about how long a session holds before it needs anything from you.

Improvements Elsewhere in the Platform

The same release brings performance work across the rest of Sendpilot:

  • Unibox — quicker loading and smoother conversation handling
  • Campaigns — better performance and more reliable handling of sequence steps
  • Inbound campaigns — performance improvements
  • Lead Extractor — performance improvements, plus a fix for the credits bug
  • Lead Extractor API — the same credits bug is fixed there too

A Brand New Website

We did not stop at the connector. The website has a completely new look, with a cleaner design and clearer navigation so it is easier to find what you are after. You are reading this on it — have a look around and tell us what you think.

Need a Hand?

If an account will not reconnect or a campaign is not picking back up, reach us in live chat. We have extra people on support while everyone works through their accounts, so do not sit on a problem.

Thanks for your patience through the migration.
